June 2026 Real Estate Market Report

@realty recorded another outstanding month in May, achieving $431,144,386 in property sales across Australia and New Zealand.

National home prices remained largely stable, declining just 0.04% in May following a 0.1% fall in April. While Sydney and Melbourne both recorded modest declines of 0.2%, regional markets continued to grow, rising 0.2% for the month.

Perth experienced its first monthly decline since late 2024, although values remain up an impressive 20.6% over the past year. Adelaide and Darwin were the strongest-performing capital cities, each recording 0.3% growth.

The housing market has clearly softened following consecutive interest rate rises, with growth slowing across most major markets. However, strong employment, healthy household equity, limited housing supply, and high construction costs are expected to support property values and help prevent significant price declines.

Despite changing market conditions, @realty agents continue to deliver exceptional results for their clients across Australia and New Zealand.
