@realty agents across Australia and New Zealand transacted an impressive $430,409,172 in property during June.
While Australia's property market softened for a third consecutive month, with national home values easing 0.3%, prices remain 5.8% higher than this time last year. Rising interest rates and recent housing policy changes have impacted buyer demand, particularly across the capital cities.
Regional markets continue to outperform, remaining at record highs and growing 9.5% year-on-year. Perth, Darwin, Brisbane and Adelaide remain Australia's strongest-performing capital cities over the past 12 months.
Although further interest rate movements and recent taxation changes may create some short-term uncertainty, buyer confidence is expected to improve once interest rates stabilize.
